Whats Going On In Becks World
By: fetyani | February 24th, 2009There are still talks everyday on Beckham’s situation between him, Galaxy & Milan but not much has changed. At the moment Milan are looking more likely to secure Beckham. David played this weekend against Cagliari and….even Superman takes a day off sometimes. However Milan won the 3 points and that what matters. Click Here For Milan 1-0 Cagliari Highlights.
Whoever said that sponsors brainwash their players and tell them what to say!!!
Beckham on staying with Milan: “Nothing is impossible if you truly believe in something,â€
But David is smart, he switched it up!

Another interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport on the gap between Inter:
“It’s true [that] there is a large gap between us but I still believe we are the stronger teamâ€
“It’s important to remain attached to Juve. The Scudetto? I will never say it is over but we must work hard to reduce the deficit that is currently stopping us from being challengers.”
What about Galaxy Becks!!!!??
“I haven’t talked to anyone from the Los Angeles Galaxy recently; my lawyer is occupied with thatâ€
In other words, his people are talking to their people.”
.
Uncle Fester “Galliani†as usual has something to say about his new crush Becks. (His honeymoon with Dinho is over).
“We are working to keep Beckham with us until June 30, 2010,”
“In the USA Beckham is considered a testimony for their league and he also has other commercial contracts, that is why Galaxy are asking so much.”*
“David is available to miss out on large amounts of money, now it depends on him and what his lawyers will be able to do, who are in Los Angeles to discuss the situation,”
“We are waiting to see what will happen.”
“The possibilities are: David will go back to Los Angeles on March 9, or he stays until May 31, or he will remain until June 30, 2010. I don’t want to make any percentages now, but it’s clear I’m hoping for the third option.”
*According to reports (Nothing Official) Milan offered 3 million euro and LA Galaxy are asking for 12 million euro.
Coach Ancelotti had a few pleasant sentiment words to say for Becks, maybe that will keep him.
“Beckham was a beautiful transfer and he is unique in terms of his professionalism,”
“If his stay at Milan ends on March 9 then at least we will have nice memories of him.”
Aaaaand now go: “Awwwwwwâ€
As a Milanista you first support your team, and second hate Inter. Plus Beckham was a former Man Utd. Player and is still a fan, here is what he had to say about the anticipated Champions League game between Inter – Manchester United.
“I can’t wait,”
“I haven’t been to many United games since I left so as soon as this match was announced I looked to see if I was still going to be in Milan when it would be played.”
“I’m so excited about it, but it’s also a great opportunity to see the likes of Rio [Ferdinand], Wazza [Wayne Rooney] and, of course, Giggsy [Ryan Giggs] and Scholesy [Paul Scholes] who I haven’t seen for a while.â€
“Oh yes, I’ve been a United fan all and always will be,”
“I’ve still got friends in the team who I played with at Old Trafford and still play with for England. So I always follow how they’re doing.â€
Game ended 0-0, hopefully the Red Devils will finish them at the Old Trafford.
Of course in “Becks World” everything is publicity and media circus. This Monday Beckham was at the Adidas Store in Milan. “David Beckham presented the brand new Predator Powerserve DB at the adidas store in Milan. For the english football star there were thousands of people outside the shop. A real success!”
Here are some pictures.
Becks is expected to play on Thursday in the UEFA Cup return leg game against Werder Bremen at the San Siro. 1st leg ended 1-1 with Super Pippo scoring.
Forza Milan! Forza Beckham!

As a Galaxy fan who wanted to see him take the MLS to a new level, I’m truely heartbroken by Becks lack of class. He promised so much and then ran out on his team. We, his fans who supported him through the 2 hard years of failure, want to see the promised land of a championship with him. Well I doubt that this will happen so all I can say is thanks for nothing!!! Unfortunately I’m such a huge fan, that I’ll still gonna support ya in your quest to make the world cup in 2010, but don’t think I’m buying another damn jersey any time soon, You Trader!!! Go Galaxy!!! I hope Milan loses every game for the rest of the season!!!!

i can understand your frustration and it would piss me off too if it happened to us, but sometimes in a situation like this in sports you can’t completely blame him.
he played for LA Galaxy for about 2 years and it didnt work, fact. option A) move and look for a better opportunity with another team. B) stay with Galaxy, get some more money, play shitty for another 5 years with them.
he could have moved to another MLS team, but an open opportunity was up for grabs for him to play in a top notch European club (Milan) and have a chance to play in 2010. so he chose Milan.
its simply a career decision. yah there are promises, dreams and fantasy land in every club when a new player signs or before the season or at anytime but in sports when you realize you made the wrong decision(moving to LA) you have to do whats right to correct that mistake before its too late.
even though Beckham is looking after his individual career, but as a player he is known as a model player and hard worker, and he proved it.

as for the last sentence, hope can’t even stop Milan!
in the words of our “somewhat kinda known as corrupt” President Berlusconi,
“We are stronger than envy, we are stronger than misjustice, we are stronger than misfortune”
and can and will come over any obstacle in our way, its in our blood. Forza Rossoneri!!
