This just in, Beckham is named MLS Player of the Week for the second time this season. He was also named POTW for week #2 of the MLS season. It reminds me of that scene in Forrest Gump where Forrest goes to the White House a second time: “So we went to the White House, A-gain, and I got to meet the President of the You-nited States, A-gain.”

Between Becks and Landon Donovan, the Galaxy have earned POTW four times in the first six weeks of the season. If you haven’t been watching Galaxy’s games, now might be a good time to start.
